BTG, based in Oud-Beijerland, is the global market leader and a specialist in the development, production, and installation of positioning systems for (semi-)automated container terminals. The positioning systems are based on unique transponder, infrared, and radar technology, enabling the position of cranes and vehicles to be measured with unparalleled precision and reliability.
BTG employs approximately 45 people, the majority of whom work in R&D. In addition to its head office in Oud-Beijerland, the company also has an innovation and development site in the US and a production facility in Spain. BTG controls the entire value chain, from the in-house development of hardware and software through to the production, assembly, sales, and installation of the positioning systems.
